Help appraising this Miyata 1000 - low on information
Hello hello
So what I have so far is a picture of the bike and the following dimensions -
center of the pedal crank to top of seat tube: 21"
standover height: 30.5"
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I am 5'11", 31" inseam and from those dimensions it seems like a 53 or 54cm? It looks to be in really good condition but unfortunately small
How much would you pay for it anyway? The seller also said "Both need new tires and tubes and handle grips and some oil"
Thanks

I saw that a Miyata 1000 went for $900 on ebay recently, though it may have been a different year than this one. Looks in good shape. I would pay up to $500 for it, but check on size. If you are 5'11", might be small.

+1 Google bicycle inseam, I really doubt your bicycle inseam is only 31 inches. That bike is small for someone 5-11.

Waaaaaay too small. I'd say 5' 6" max. The way the seatpost is adjusted in the picture, looks like the previous rider was maybe 5' 3"
OP: if you're 5' 11", should be looking for at LEAST a 56cm frame. I'd guess 58 to be perfect, 60 could even do just fine. Unless your legs are really that short?
