1970's Jeunet
I have a chance to a get 70's Jeunet likely for free. The bike is complete but with no wheels. Sorry no pics at this time. My question is this kind of bike worth spending a little time to fix I could likely getting working with a good set of 700c's with the parts I have on hand. I ask this because I don't know much about the Juenet brand name other than its french.

What Joe said. Jeunet was like a lot of bike boom brands. They had some nice stuff and they had gaspipe.

****'s Racing Bicycles in Santa Monica used to carry them way ay back, like 1972-73.
The base model was like a Peugeot UO8. All the other models ****'s had wore tubulars. The top bike was similar to a PX-10. Biggest downside to me was the foil graphics.

For the bike shop that no one could understand, there was Braun's Multiprises on Broadway, he had a vintage shop before it was fashionable. sold musical instruments too. Had a great Pogliaghi Tandem Track bike in the window for what seemed forever.

I got the bike today and got it together so it rides. Will send pics soon. Best I can tell is that it is a 630 sport model with a 531 frame but almost none of the original parts are left except the rear brake headset and maybe bottom bracket.

I don't think it is a 531 frame. Measure the seatpost, it's likely around 25.4.
The giveaway is the fully chromed fork.
A 531 french bike would be 26.4 or 26.6 seatpost.
I think your crank was upgraded at some point.

Thanks for the info I double checked the frame it is a 25.4. After taking it apart and getting a closer look it isn't a 531 frame but I can't ID what type it is. I thought it was a 531 because the pump mounts are on the top frame tube and most of the other frames had the pump mounts on the bottom tube.
