To paint or not to paint 1970's Juenet.
I'm almost done building up the Juenet I got and now I'm not sure if I want to keep it.
The question I have is will I need to do something about the paint to get a good price if I decide to sell.
Also in general is the time and effort required to repaint finish a frame worth the difference in sale price on C&V bikes. If I repaint I want to do a decent job with original color and detailing not just a single color spray can job.

Generally I don't think repaints are even a good thing unless you have them done very well with new decals and badges. I'd prefer the paint on that bike to a repaint.
But other buyers might rather have a nice looking bike. In terms of how much extra money you could possibly make, I doubt you'll see a return from any kind of job. A cheap spray job will probably make the bike worth less, and you probably won't see any return on an expensive pro job unless you're talking about a bike that's worth over $1000 to begin with.

What are you trying to sell it for? I don't think you will get your money out if you pay to have it painted. How tall is the frame... looks tall which will hurt value. I think in its current condition you would be lucky to get $125.
