Nashbar frameset value
I've finally decided to sell my too big for me 1985 Road MKIII frame after 20+ years of riding it to get something my size. Can anybody make a guess at it's value? I can't find any recent sales. From what I can find it is Ishawata 024 double butted with a Tange Levin MTB-225 chrome headset.

Between the name and the chipped up paint, minimal value. The average buyer does not recognize that some of the private labeled bikes from the 1980s were very nice.
Best way to get value out of them is to sell them as a complete bike (if you have some parts available).

I agree I think Nashbar was buyng lots of nice stuff then so the bike was likely topnotch but now, to most people, it is just a scratched up 10spd. what are the componenets on it?

It has the original Suntour Cyclone components, but I want to use those for a new frame. I had bought a Bianchi this summer that was perfect, but someone made an offer I couldn't refuse and I sold it. And now that I'm back to this bike, I realize how the size is wrong. Not a big deal if it's not worth the hassle of selling, I'll just hang it in the garage as wall art. The memories are worth more than the bike.
