What might this bike be worth? Raleigh Grand Prix Racing USA
Here is a picture of my bike, I think it is a 1980-1982 model year, I am the original owner. The serial number is 5FN0231, the F may be an E can't tell for sure. It is in good condition, I wiped it down and polished the chrome and it looks 25 years newer again!
Thanks.
Thanks.

That looks like a 1984 Grand Prix but based on the serial number it's likely the 1985 model. Condition looks OK, average for the age. Big selling point is the frame itself with CrMO butted tubeset and lots of chrome. Components are good, upper entry level. Value will vary substantianly based on local market conditions and when and how you plan to sell it (i.e. Ebay, Craiglists, etc). It would bring about $200 in my market, in the spring.

$200 sounds about right. All the chrome is a big plus, everyone loves chrome. The pedals/shoes are cool too. If you ever post this on craigslist take better, bigger photos and post them full-size using a hosting site like photobucket. The attached photo is ok but still pretty grainy and hard to tell any actual details. You want photos like this: (not my ad) https://madison.craigslist.org/bik/2731459514.html

While basically made by Huffy mid 80's American Ralieghs look great so they often sell for $200-300 dollars which is more than they are worth.
