1983 miyata 1000
It is all original except the brakes. It has no rust and only a couple small.scratches. I paid three hundred. Anyone have any idea what this is worth?

If you take the time to have a look at Vintage Bicycle Value, you will be in a position to help determine the value of the bicycle. If you share decent pictures and a more detailed description, you will be in a better position to glean information from the folks at Bike Forums. That said...
Your bike, depending on the market, time of year and size of bike will fetch between $450.00 and $900.00. Perhaps less, perhaps more, based on those things mentioned, that really have little to do with the bicycle itself.
Hope this is a help.

The Miyata 1000 is sought after. That said, I couldn't imagine that $900 is in the realm of possibility with the OP indicating scratches. This is a good value touring bike right built right before the designer added a bunch of features. It's one of the good ones, but not one of the great ones.
Size will also dictate value to some degree.
$300 could be reasonable depending on the OP's market and the condition of the bike.
