Mid to late '80s Moser 51.151
I just got this, not a lot on the web about it, especially with this color scheme. It has Galli components and rims, and Galli Approved Sachs New Success derailleurs. Anyone know about this model?
Thanks, John
Thanks, John

Before I go much further, I need to know the tubeset. There appears to be a Columbus decal on the seat tube and an Oria decal on the fork but I know that Moser had their own Columbus copy decal and there appears to possibly be another Oria decal on the upper down tube? Regardless, the Galli approve New Success derailleurs place it no older than 1986.

OK, the bicycle is a Moser Leader. The fork decal looks like it say GM 0.0. If so, the main tubes should be profiled, with four longitudinal ribs. I can't see them in the pictures, but it may be due to the contrasting white fill. The ribs stiffen the frame, similar to Colnago Gilco tubing All things being equal, in a very hot market like NYC, this bicycle should bring $500 but due to the low recognizeability of the tubeset and components you may have to settle for much less. This one will require careful marketing, with a well written ad.

this looks interesting. I would love a complete Galli bike, new or old stuff
