1976 schwinn varsity.
green.
electro forged frame.
original/working front and back lights and speedometer.
10 speed.
everything original.
good condition and in working condition.
How much is it worth and do the lights and speedometer add to the value at all?

No, extras add nothing to most buyers.
Without high quality pics, no idea on value.
Everything original? That would mean it needs a pretty extensive service.
The condition and your marketing talent will be a huge factor in value.

The working lights and speedo don't add much additional value unless the bike is in near perfect condition. Probably only a $100-125 depending on market and selling skills. These Schwinns where just not nice enough bike originaly or rare enough to have much collectors value.

It would have to be "Brand New Showroom" condition to have much value. I see them locally at $25-75 (though I do see them listed for $100-$175 on occasion...but I doubt they get that asking price)on CL, in various states of repair.

Constant tinkerer
Prices vary a lot, seems like half the people sitting on old Schwinns think they have a gold mine. Realistic selling price is about $50-75 in good working condition. Needs work, less.
+1 Most buyers don't care about extras, they will not add much value.

I have to agree that most of the people who list old Schwinns on CL seem to think they are worth a lot. The lower end models just aren't in less than good riding condition they are basicaly scrap metal. About half of the ones donated to the local bike coop where I volunteer end up getting scrapped.

Isnt Philly a relatively hot market? I got my asking price of $120 ($125?) for one with the bottle generator and lights in Boston last year. No speedo but it had an odo and a sweet bell. Paint was ROUGH but for bikes like these college kids dont care.
I agree that "everything original" kind of screams "needs new tires and grease everywhere." If you dont want to put that level of work in, expect no more than $75
For kicks, here's a pic of mine!
