1973 Schwinn Paramount Touring
Looking to flip this one as it doesn't fit. Wondering, since the components are not all original (the crankset, saddle, seatpost, handlebars, stem, front derailleur, hubs and brakeset are original).
It's a 1973 Paramount Touring. Campy triple cranks. High-flange hubs laced to new velocity synergy rims. When I measured it I believe it's a 54cm.

Paint seems to be pretty good along with the chrome even with non original parts i would guess you could get 4-500 for it how it sits. If you were to part it out you could probably get 250-300 for the frameset, vintage brooks saddle is close to 100 by itself, high flange record hubs I think theres a set for 175 as I type this.

Kind of a weird bike...reversed rear brake...SR derailleur paired with a triple? Condition looks decent. My read is that the value of these has been dropping (70s era Paramounts) but I agree with jhabbs...if I were selling it I'd expect 1000ish. Maybe a hundred or so less because of the odd quirks.
I LOVE the color.

Very sweet bike but I just don't see 1000 with the non-original parts. I'd be thinking a couple hundred less than that.
+1 why is the rear brake mounted in front of the seat stays?

I wasn't thinking only ebay sales. It's amazing what craigslisters will pay for old campy bits. I've sold Superleggeri pedals for $120!
But your point is well-taken. Thanks!

What are folks thinking on frame/fork? You don't see these frame only that much...I'm guessing $350-$400'ish pre-fees?
It's a very pretty bike...I'd change the brake if it has the clearance (it might have been done because it doesn't reach...I had that issue once).

$350 to $400 would be a steal.
To the OP, you must be in a really hot local market, around here, vintage parts go cheap, really cheap. Ebay is really the only option if you want to get near market value.

I think that is low. Vintage Paramount frames from that era (1970s) in nice condition, like the one above, should bring $500 to $750. Why the wide range? Ebay is the land of variance.

I still think the best path forward is to sell it whole and I'd probably try here and serotta before dealing with ebay.

A vintage Brooks Pro in decent condition will bring a lot more than $50.00 on E-bay.

I've posted this before, but I just paid $750 for a '73 P15-9 with original spec parts except low flange Campy hubs and an early 80's Shimano RD, frame with a fairly recent Cycle Art re-paint. CL in Raleigh. Seller had it up for a while at $1000.00, then dropped the price some-we met and haggled a bit to get to my price. Apply your own metric to the parts and re-paint......

Nice bike - Probably looking at $600 to $750 as it sits. Probably about the same if you part it out. I would take a shot a selling it whole first.

The rear brake mounting was sort of a fad for a while, just to be different. I was tempted to do it on my bike too but never did.
