1989 Trek 5000
What would be a good offer on a 1989 Trek 5000 in near mint condition?
Ridden about 250 miles and spent the last 20+ years hanging in the seller's garage.
All original components.

Thank you!

Constant tinkerer
Wow, Trek's first monoque carbon bike. As a rider I'm not sure if this would be a good choice. IIRC they had problems with the frames failing and this was a one year only bike. The next 1-piece carbon frame (OCLV) did not come until 1992.
It is certainly a piece of history though and I would like to own one someday. Not sure on a number as these are probably pretty rare. At least $500 I would think.
