circa 1970 Dunelt 5 speed
I have a Dunelt speed woman's bike purchased around 1969-1970. It has sentimental value (my main form of transportation at UW Madison). A friend just told me it has value - does it? It has surface rust on fenders, flat tires (of course), orignal seat, hand grips and gears. It still makes that sweet sound when moving. It is a one owner bike.

Cool bike but too much rust to be worth much. Even in great shape, women's frame bikes are worth less than men's and 5-speeds in this style don't have a ton of value to begin with.
If it has sentimental value to you you're probably better off keeping it.

It has value as a commuter bike, but also some collectible value.
Look at that chainguard!
All tuned up, paint and chrome cleaned up, etc. it would retail for around $225 in the Boston market.
