pristine Bianchi; vintage? whats it worth?
this Bianchi came up for sale locally. currently i am waiting to hear back from him on my first contact with him asking about the year and why he's selling it.
asking $500, which is worth it imo, but its going to be a hard sell
pics:
looks to be mostly original group set and parts, as you can see, the paint appears to be in pretty good knick.
sellers description:
BIANCHI road Bike
56 cm 12 speed
Mostly Campagnolo components except:
Stem: ITM with Bianchi pantograph
Headset: Miche
Seatpost: fluted 3ttt, 27.2
170mm Campagnolo cranks
Ambrosio 19 Super Elite rims
Columbus Formula Two tubing
Vittoria Rubino Pro tires
All City track pedals with clips and straps

Similar Bianchi bicycles do come up for less, however; the one pictured looks like it is worth $500 in a heart beat. Were I in the market, I would not hesitate to pay that much for a full Campy Bianchi in above average condition. But that is just me.

Looks like a '87 Vittoria model wich came festooned with Victory. Great looking bike and I agree it looks to be in fabulous shape. I think it might linger a day or two but not long at that price.

Thanks for the feedback as always folks.
I most likely will not be picking this up.
He is selling a same period Pinarello for $1000 and also inquired about that, but he has yet to get back to me
