1992 Bridgestone RB-1
Hello,
I have a 1992 Bridgestone RB-1 that I am thinking of selling. I really don't know what it is worth. I am the original
owner and the bike is in excellent shape with only a few minor scratches. All original components, the only thing different
is I chose the Avocet racing vinyl saddle instead of the leather one. Size is 54.5 cm.
Here are the specs;
yellow/white
Shimano Ultegra group (7 speed)
Ritchey Vantage Comp rims
Ritchey Force Road stem
Dia-Compe brakes
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill

There's an 88 RB1 for sale right now in the C&V classifieds for $430.

A 59cm RB-1, I think it was a 1991 or 1992, recently went for $450 on CL here in Madison, and that's with the slightly less desirable taller frame, but in very good condition. It was up for maybe 10 days at that price. On ebay, of course, it could go for quite a bit more given the Bridgestone cult, up to $1000 depending on exact condition, interest at the time, how original the components are, etc, etc. So, it depends what you want to get out of it. Local CL value, depending on your market, is likely between $400 and $600, ebay between $500-$1000
I think the 1993 is a particularly desirable year as well.....I don't remember exactly why though.....

Bikes: a few classic Ritcheys, a Mt. Tam, and a "modern" Klein mtb ('99)

The 93s had the Ritchey-designed fork I believe. Check www.sheldonbrown.com for a catalog archive. I'm looking for a '93 myself, but I've seen several 92s and earlier on eBay/CL. Check completed auctions -- I wanna say a couple have sold for upwards of $500 in condition similar to yours.

A few months ago I bought a 92 that was a 62 cm frame
in pristine shape for $425. I was very happy at that price.
