Hello, I just picked up two identical Peugeot Canyon Express bikes (pics coming in the morning its too late to get it out of the shed) I was wondering if anyone could give me some background info on the bikes, maybe the year and info about the specs, as well as what they may be worth. When I got them the cable covers had rotted away so I was unable to shift until replacing them, I left the original cables on as the replacements were too short and didnt fit my bike so i just used the covers. Theyre shifting nice, nothing wrong other than the brakes on the front arent hooked up on either bike, a few rusty spots on the bike like on the quick releases which are a bit stiffer than they should be, but overall ive been totally jamming around these things, never had a bike that felt so good to ride. Anyway sorry to post without pics ill add some in the morning just feeling impatient for information I suppose. Ive never heard of this brand but im super glad to own these bikes instead of settling for a wal mart bike like i had intended!

Found what year they, 1989 canyon express bikes, https://mysite.verizon.net/imagelib/s...nyon%20Express that is what they like except obviously not new, seats are a bit beat, rust spots on some of the screws, the logos are a bit more beat up, still relatively good condition. Pics coming later

Your Peugeot Canyon Express bikes are about 1000 x better than anything you could buy at Walmart - so congrat's on a wise purchase decision.
Peugeot is a very well respected marque.

These older non-suspension Cro-moly mountain bikes are superb bikes but do not generally get the respect they deserve. Consequently, their market value is but a fraction of their true practical worth.

In order to get a reasonable estimate though, you will need to post pictures, so people can assess condition.
