Help ID a 10-speed Raleigh Road Bike?

Hey guys,

I'm new and wanted to get into cycling and found this bike through a local CL ad.

I was wondering if anyone could give me an ID on this Raleigh? The owner says he doesn't know the year or model but it looks to be in very good condition. I know this isnt much information to work on but I would appreciate if you guys could help me out!

Thanks!

Looks to be a early 80's RBCA bike Raliegh Bicyle Company of America bike. While pretty basic entry level bikes these are good riders with decent low end parts and OK lugged chro-mo frames ande are fairly light for a entry level bike . Value wise I would say about $125 in good riding condition. Would make a fine bike for a buyer just getting into vintage road sports if the price and size are right.

It look like tape is covering the name, but you can almost make out Record.

Low end but probably a decent rider for around $100. If it has steel rims I would pass, and aim higher.
