Peugeot Bike
Anyone have any info on this particular bike? It looks nice, in very good condition with a nice lugged frame. What is it worth? Would it be a good candidate to convert to a cruiser or something? It's a friend of mines and I told her I would ask around to get an idea of how desirable it is.

Its a basic entry level mixte, with steel wheels and cottered crank. All mixtes are pretty desirable. In ready to ride condition, $150 to $200, and more if you live in one of those red hot markets.
This is not a good candidate for much conversion as it is french, so it will typically have a variety of odd sized french parts. Best to keep it in its current form.

OK, so it's a mixte. From the decals, I dated it to 77-78. The color seems pretty uncommon and it looks like the drop bars were an upgrade you could choose when you bought it. It seems to be in perfect condition with no rust and just about perfect paint, all mechanical parts work as intended(had a recent tune-up).

It appears to be a circa 1977-1978 Peugeot UO18C with replacement pedals. +1 regarding conversion. Price would be slightly lower in my region.
