Need help with Austro Daimler Olympian in questionable condition.

Need help with Austro Daimler Olympian in questionable condition.
Guys: went to look at an AD Olympian today. Cream/Ivory paint in pretty decent shape and no rust to speak of. Shifters, crank and derailleur looked to be correct Huret. That's the good news. Now for the bad.
Wrong brake levers and the ones there were in BAD shape.
No brake cables front or rear
Wrong stem and old steel bars.
No front tire and bad rear tire.
Wheels need attention.
Bike needs lots of TLC
Owner is asking $300 for frame set alone, $450 for complete bike? What do you think?

Depends what about the condition is querstionable. Still, at the $450 mark, around here, I can get something really special, in great shape, so I am passing on it.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
