marinoni at goodwill
I found this red Marinoni. Bike at The Goodwill today just by chance. I got it for $60.00.
Has all Campagnolo components and wheels I have never seen. Strada Hardox with shimano 600 hubs. I liveinSan Francisco but visiting Florida. Is it worth the shipping cost.

In Eastern Canada that bike would be $300 to $500. Great deal.

1000x yes! Nice find!!!! Hardrox rims are made by Campy.
With some careful disassembly, you should be able to ship it for around $60.

Sell it on the local Craigslist for $250 if it doesn't fit, avoid the hassle of packing and shipping/carrying it back with you.

Marinoni is, perhaps, one of the most respected of the Canadian made vintage road bicycles. I have owned a few of these wonderful old bikes and never, never had a complaint or criticism regarding workmanship or ride quality.
For $60, you stole the bike and it is most certainly a worthy specimen, well worth investing a few dollars in, in my opinion. This is one of my keepers, a very early example of the wonderful Marinoni marque - my 1976 Marinoni Quebec (my own nick name for the bike)...

Yes, I'd like better pics too, and the serial number. Something's gnawing away at me.

The serial number should be under the bottom bracket. The first digit should be the last digit of the year of manufacture.
The gnawing part might be:
-unusual that lugs are chrome
-no brake cable guides on the top tube
-no "M" or Marinoni" on the top ends of the seat stays
Is there a "M" cut out in the bottom bracket?

The lugs are painted white, they aren't chrome. I believe the previous owner did that. I don't about the cable guides but the cables have been recently replaced. marinioni is cut out on each side of the fork . They definitely tried to touch of chips and scratches. I'll check the serial numbers when it arrives here in San Francisco. All I know is it rides great and shifts like a champ and is super lite.

the bottom bracket. Still looking for the serial numbers. Last owner "touched up the paint" with a brush .
