Miche road hubs?

Hey guys, just bought 3 pairs of NOS Miche road hubs, which coasted me 25 euro per pair incl shipping. Planning to make a cheap SS wheel set for my beater, and rest sell on local listing. Figured out they could easily sell for 50+ Euro a pair since they are NOS and Miche. Anybody knows if these are any good and if this paid out?

There is a eBay link to them. I might put some pictures when I get them and open them up.

Those were lower, midrange hubs. The fact that they're don't have quick release pretty much limits the market to the single speed./fixie crowd. Now, I know they don't like dealing with complex items like derailleurs, so I can't imagine very many of them willing to tackle wheel building. As such, the resale market is quite limited. In my area, they'd be worth about $20 (15 euro) per pair.

Before making Ebay purchases, in the future, it might be a good idea to check the Completed Auctions which you can access through the Advanced Search link.

Had you done so, you might have though a bit differently about paying what you did for the hubs you purchased. I agree with T-Mar, the hubs will sell for less than the OP paid for them, in my opinion.

But don't let it worry you, I have paid too much, for this or that, now and again. This old saddle, which is really NOS, cost me more than I will likely get for it...

Sometimes I think it's not important how much something is worth but for how much you can sell it for. I live in a quite small area where SS FG market is just starting to boom and I think I will sell them for 50 E at least each. Also, from what I have been able to see there are big market differences between USA and EU, even on eBay. Thank you for your estimation, I'll repack mine and they'll have to do good for a student commuting.

One thing is for sure, FredyCro, market is a big thing when it comes to prices. If the SS/FG thing is just getting going in your area, you just might do OK. Best of luck and let us know how things go.

I agree, but around here I really doubt I could get anywhere near $50/pair for those hubs. Maybe where you live you could get that.
