barn find... what are they?
I was going through my in-laws barn last weekend and I found two 20" bike's, well, most of them. They are frames, forks and a few misc parts. I have looked over a bunch of photos on the web and one looks like a 70's Schwinn frame and no idea what the other is.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks
Rob

Someone might recognize the green one's chain guard.
On the Blue.. the wheels are the wrong size, this frame was designed for much larger wheels, probably 26" Balloon tire type.
The chain stays look kind of what Columbia was doing in the 70's but I am on thin ice in even saying that.

Looking again, maybe the blue one used 24" wheels, it just does not look "right" for the wheels in it. Neither is a Schwinn. There are no goldmines here. The green bike's chain guard is distinctive enough that it may be identifiable from that.

I saw a photo of a bike with a headbadge somewhat like the shape of the one with the big chain guard. Kilp, made in Scotland. It's a long-shot but it's all I have.
