Fuji Espree - Worth Buying?
Whoops, just posted this in the Classic and Vintage forum instead of this one. Hahah definitely new to bikeforums 
Could anyone tell me more about the Fuji Esprees, particularly the following from CL? I'm a college student looking for a good deal on a new and durable road bike since my last was stolen by high school punks. The seller said he could go down to $160.

To me , it looks like it has spent a good amount of time in the elements. Kinda rough around the edges. You can do better at that price, in my opinion . Pass.

It's not a bad bike but the chain is pretty rusty and the cables need replacing. The bearings will also need to be overhauled. Once you do all this work $180 is just too much. If it was ready to ride, sure. But it's not. Keep looking.

I wouldn't. The broken front and missing front reflector, torn/badly applied bartape and the above mentioned mechanical items means this bike likely needs lots of work.
$50 at a yard sale maybe if you can do most of the overhaul work yourself.
