Team Fuji '91?
I believe this is a 91' Team Fuji. 51cm and has suntour superbe pro components and mavic wheels. Looks to be in really good condition minus some of the stickers peeling. Any idea of what it's worth? Seller is asking around $600... Thanks

$600 is a really, really, strong price for a vintage Japanese racing bike. I've never seen one that high.
At that price level, you should be able to find just about anything.
Does make me feel good about the bike I built out with Superbe Pro bits.
Components and color is wrong for a 1991 BTW. The Suntour bits will all have date codes you can check.
For me to go close to that price, it would need to be a Dura Ace STI bike (8 speed). 1991 was the first year I think. And it would need to be Tange Prestige frame. Even then, $600 would be pushing it.

SunTour AccuShift Plus dates the Superbe Pro components to the early 1990s. To my best recollection, the Team Fuji were using 600 Ultegra during this period, so it's probably a foreign model or a frankenbike build. I suspect the latter, based on the relatively low level appearance of the brake calipers and Joytech hubs. Of course, this makes it very hard to put a value on the bicycle without knowing the complete build specs. Also, while ASP had almostcaught up to SIS by this point, it was not widely spec'd or SIS compatible, making any future replacements harder to come by. Unless you're located in a very high priced market, I'd have to agree that the bicycle is priced too high, though without having more details, it hard to say by how much.

I agree that it might be a bit high for CL (depending on area), but given what Superbe Pro bits are selling for on eBay, I actually think you could still do well with it should you ever decide to sell it. Like t-mar said, you have to know the full build, but I would pursue if I were interested...maybe offer $450. It looks sharp and I do think it's an interesting bike.

Thanks for the replies guys. I found out more specifics of the bike:
Tange frame
Ishiwata fork
Nitto handle bars and stem
Shimano 600 handle brakes
serfs seat
Front and rear der. and crank are superb pro
mavic wheels
So yeah, it looks to be a frankenbike.

The fork and frame appear to match, but mixing Ishiwata and Tange would be very rare. It may be an indicator that the frame was crashed and the fork replaced. This one needs to be examined very carefully.
