Looking for an opinion on a couple vintage bikes.

They are pretty big differences in size, so if you are about 6' or less, the Schwinn will not be a great fit. I would pick the Technium over the World Sport all other things being equal. Techniums are typically alloy frames, where the WS is gas pipe.

That's an early World Sport, which was a real dog. The Raleigh is nothing special, but better than that WS.
Two different sizes, best to figure out size first prior to shopping. Google will get you endless info on bike sizing.
Around here, $200 will get you past the stem shifter/turkey lever/claw rear derailleur quality level. Not sure about your town.
Myself, I would pass on both, look harder, and find something better.

The Technium is a better bike. Though I'm unsure of that particular model I can see it has the aluminum main tubes by looking at the lugs. It's a lower value bike having the turkey levers on the brakes and stem shifters. I only paid 100.00 for my Techie and it's a PRE, a few steps up.

+2 Check your size before you buy.
World Sport is overpriced. Regardless of condition, there's no way an early WS is worth $200.
I think the Raleigh is overpriced as well but not as bad.

I agree entirely. Our CL is just silly with varsity and collegiates, super sports going for well above 200 and into 300.00 territory. Somebody is dreaming.
