Old Giant Road Bike
I saw this Giant Road Bike on CL selling for $60. Is it worth it? This is the only image the owner has of the bike, so it may not be that helpful. I'm looking for a bike mostly to just run errands with (6 miles one way).

The rear derailleur is missing, no telling what else it needs. If you have to pay a shop to make it roadworthy, it's not worth the price.

It's missing the rear derailleur and applicable cable. I can't tell if the rear shift lever is there or not.The chain is floating due to the missing derailleur. The stem is unsafely high. I'd pass, unless you're technically competent to install a rear derailleur. If it didn't have the derailleur issue and fit properly, with no other major, unseen issues, it would have been a good buy.

Looks like 24" wheels to me which means it is sized for a kid. I agree with Brian stay away!
