Wondering about a Bianchi from the 80's

The item in question is here: https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/bik/3899966188.html

I'm looking for a touring bike in particular. I bought a Specialized Tricross Comp a few days ago, built it up, and realized that a size 56 to someone 5' 7" is entirely wrong. I'm kind of jaded now for buying new bikes, and like the idea of getting something used anyways.

If anyone knows the model or how much it's worth, that would be super useful. I've got a few other questions, too. My understanding of modern Dura Ace is very finnicky and needing lots of adjustment. Is that the case in old models? What range of componentry might an 80's Dura Ace be comparable to today? Does the frame look workable for light touring loads?

Thanks in advance for the help.

If it really has DA shifters and rear derailer, than it's a good deal, assuming everything still works well.

Very strange bike, never seen anything like it. It has Cantilever brakes up front and sidepulls at the rear, it is not set up for touring at all, has a rather short wheelbase and might not take wide tires at all. The Dura Ace stuff is 7700, made after 1997, very good and not at all finicky IMO. Great bike for lighter touring and randonees, OK price.

I've never seen anything like this either. Decals are from the 1990s but are incomplete. The rear dropouts look the Gipemme that Bianchi was using in the late 1980s. It's definitely got rack mounts both front and rear but has very short chainstays, so maybe the rack bosses were added and it's a repaint? As noted, cantilevers on front and side-pull on the rear are strange too. It very much appears to be a frankenbike, so components are not a help in identifying it.

+1 on possible repaint. Could be a replacement fork...can't imagine a company specing 2 different styles of brakes. Front skewer looks like it's been painted -weird.

Any pantos to tell us this is even a bianchi?
