Peugeot Bike possibly a "Peugeot 103 carbolite"

Hi All ,

I am planning to sell a old "Peugeot Bike" possibly "Peugeot 103 carbolite touring" (based on a pictures that are similar to this one.) What would be a fair price to ask for this Bike.

Appreciate all your help on this. Link to the Picture : https://s1290.photobucket.com/user/lr...f69ca.jpg.html & https://s1290.photobucket.com/user/lr...a5718.jpg.html

Thanks
Lakshmi

You are going to have to post detailed pictures in order to get any kind of response other than "need pics". Make sure you take them from the side with the the drive train facing the camera and not the wall.

Is the photo of the actual bike? Nice bike but if you're selling you'll need some pictures from the driveside. The side with the gears.

As it sits, in a decent market, about $150.

Why would anybody give a value when the actual bike is pictured?

I was thrown off by the OPs parens re carbolite.

Carbolite is a Peugeot proprietary tubeset, not a model.

If that were my bike, I be tempted to sell the crank on eBay separately. Especially if I had a decent replacement crank to put on it.

From the drive side pic, the crank looks like a Stronglight 49D triple. Those usually sell for between $50 and $100 on eBay. The bike looks like a $150 bike with or without the original crank.

No pictures of actual bicycle = no appraisal. SOP.
