'00 TREK 4500 mtb. Worth?

Hi All, Linda MD here. I have a small Q for you. We are moving to Saudi Arabia next summer and need to sell our two '00 TREK 4500 mtb's, W 16" and a M 18", among all other stuff. I have NO idea how much they are worth. Do anyone of you, or somebody you know, know how much they are worth. They are both in great condition. Thanks, Lin

Can you furnish some photos with details and of the overall bike? Condition affects value a lot, and not everyone's opinion of condition is the same.

They were only $440 new and are now almost 14 years old. Old suspension forks do not age well. MTB technology changes quickly, serious MTB riders want full suspension, disk brakes, etc., leaving recreational riders as likely buyers. Recreational riders tend to want to pay as little as possible.

Watch your local C/L to see what others are asking for older mtbs, clean them up really well, make sure they are ready to ride, tires fully aired up, take some quality pics, and sell. If you ask too much, the only responses you will get are scammers.
