Identify my frame!

Hello people,

I just got my hands on this bike, and I have no idea what it is.

The stickers all seem rubish, and I dont think it's either a Pinarello, or that it may be fabricated in the USA. It's been resprayed, and the rear fork is cromed beneath the paint, and the bb shell is chromed as well underneath the paint.

It's a mix of parts, leavers are rsx100, crank shimano 600, brakes and shifters, and rd and fd seem to be Campagnolo Triomphe maybe - please corect me!
The bb shell has marke on it "AHRER"; no google search luck on this one...

Oh and it has a stuck seatpost.

here are the pics:

If I were to hazard a guess (which I'm about to do) I'd say its either a Derosa or (and I suspect this is more likely) an old Miele.

It looks like no Pinerello I've ever seen.
Alright, smarter people, it's your turn.

It's not a Pinarello for sure. There are some nice features on the frame like braze on, inner brake cable guide. Are there any markings on dropouts? Can you please give us info on seat post diameter and threading on BB cups?

Brake calipers are Victory, not Triomphe, and shifters are c-record or something in the higher campy class...

This would be my guess... regarding you are from Romania, and AHRER on BB:

Swiss made, Reynolds tubing, 501? Swiss threaded BB, or British threads.

The bb is italian, it's marked 36x24 on a cup.

The seatpost seems a 26.8mm, it has an aero dura ace seatpost.

No markings on the dropouts. It has a "50" mark on the inside of the rear right dropout, and there's a "50" on bb shell. The seattube is 50cm so i guess they stamped the size.

Italian threading = could be France, Switzerland or, well, Italy. 26,8mm you say? Considering non-stamped Columbus dropouts on the rear fork and 26,8mm diameter the frame could be made of Columbus Aelle tubing, but I can't give you any info about who made it since the frame looks pretty generic and lacks specific craftsmanship. Fork is still screaming "Reynolds!" to me, but I could be, and probably am, wrong. AHRER sounds like Austria, Switzerland or Germany...

Nice looking bike whatever it is.

The shifters are Synchro II which came with any of the Campi groups from '89 onward.
