New To The Stable
Hi All
Remember I posted this Frejus as a how did I do... Well... here she is restored to almost original condition, just need to add a couple of more components and she's done... Enjoy...
Philo
PS Special Thanks to Forum member...Michael in Mt Vernon... for helping with the very nice alloy wheels and mounting the tubular tires.

I like that you kept the five point cottered crank two thirds are better of the builders would have changed this out and lessened a lot of the bikes character.

Yes... I kept the cranks, and rear Nuovo Record Derail-er.
Took off the bars and upper suntour shifter, and the suicide levers, replaced those with a NICE SET OF ORIGINAL BLUE Printed Hoods, Universal Mod. 61 Brakes. Added a nice set of Gran-Prix Handle bars and GP Stem, and taped the bars with white cloth taping.
Some really nice Campy LF hubs with Champion rims I bought from Michael, he helped me mount the tires, added a flywheel, and I was in business. Glad to see someone cares of the original components these beauties had in the old day.

Hi Phil,
Yes, those are beautiful cranks. BTW, your rear derailleur looks like a Record (chrome), not a Nuovo Record (aluminum).
I'm glad you like the wheels.
