Vintage Peugeot worth?
I found an old vintage Peugeot bike in my grandpas barn it's been sitting there for 20 plus years I think. It's hardly ever been used if ever. The tires and frame are all in good condition and I believe all the parts are original and it's all in good condition just a little dusty. I did some research and I think it's an early 70's model. I've attached some pictures of it any help on how much it might be worth or any information on it would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Still learning
It needs an overhaul, but it has leather saddle in good nic and a gen light. As-is, this UO-8 is worth $100 +/- $20.

1974 ish UO8. Slightly later ones had a headbadge, not a sticker, and that color was not available until 1973 (or so, dating Pugs is an arcane art).
+1 to oddjob's pricing. It's a smaller size, so maybe 125-150 in ready to ride condition, maybe 80 as is.

Agree with mid 70's UO8, and the price. Those leather saddles that came on them were a very thin leather and did not have much of a life.
Not to trash the OP at all, but why does it seem that there are more bike found in barns than there are barns?

incazzare.
I think you guys are about right.
To the owner of the bike, sometimes people confuse these bikes with the more valuable PX models, because the decals are similar. I hope you weren't expecting it to be one of those, it's still a solid and useful bike.

Thanks for all the info guys really appreciate it. I bought it off my grandpa for 100 and was hoping I could maybe flip it for a profit but if it's really not worth that much I guess I'll just hold on to it and use it myself. Thanks again!

Your grandpa's a bit of a shark, ain't he? If I expressed interest in my gramp's bike he hadn't used in over 20 years, he'd have said, "Take it, kid." That's how I got his pellet gun collection.
