Relative rarity/value? Campy 8 speed titanium cassette
Two of these NIB cassettes were donated to our charity. For the past three years we have given over 2500 (yes, 2500) refurbished bikes*each year*to the needy in the Rochester, NY area. We sell items like this to help*to pay our expenses.
In researching the value of this donation I have seen asking prices for this particular 12-21 NIB cassette much higher than others even from the same seller. Is this a particularly rare gear combo? Any suggestions for initial pricing in auction would be much appreciated.

go to ebay. search for the item, then click the "sold listings" box on the lower left side. that will give you an idea.
if it were me, id start each off as a $60 ebay auction and see what happens.
if you plan on selling on craigslist, deduct 10-15% off the ebay price.

Thanks to both of you for your input. I am aware of searching for sold items. I guess my real question is whether this specific cassette gear combo was more rare or desirable than others. 12-13-14-15-16-17-19-21 I see no reason why it would be but them I'm not a big roadie or racer.
Many times I have noticed the European sellers with ridiculous prices compared to sold listings. I agree someone somewhere must pay those prices, otherwise, what's the point of listing at them? We sell a lot of our bikes and are very aware of crazy pricing. Same thing happens at garage sales when trying to sell little Billy's Big Wheel as a "collectible." Little Billy is now 40 years old. :-) Thanks again.

This ratio was not uncommon for a racing ratio way back when men were men and a 39x21 was all you needed or you were off the back anyway. I have one, NOS. I paid $60 for it years ago. The limit of appeal of this cassette is that it uses the short lived EXA freehub body form. Earlier 8 speed won't fit. It will not work on 9 speed freehubs either as is is not wide enough and the lock ring I think is possibly different too. I ended up buying an EXA hub for the cassette, that hub is a bit lighter as the freewheel body is aluminum not steel, so an EXA ti cassette and hub can be the center of a pretty light wheel.
In the not too recent past I have seen them trade NOS for $100-120. Be sure to advise that the cassette takes the EXA spline profile in the 8 speed width.
