Frame identification help needed
Hi,
I recently bought this frame because it was light and cheap.
However, I do not know what frame it is.
Someone has made it a really bad paint job, but I thought to fix it as long as I know which frame, color, and labels.
It has Suntour Dropouts, British threaded BB (came with Dura Ace).
The seller said that it was with a Shimano 600 series brakes, cranks and gears but he needed them to another bike.
I've done a lot of google search and perhaps it is Koga-Miyata frame from late 70s, but I'm not sure.
The serial number seems to be D9X2365 (really thick paint)
Thanks for the help.
Best regards, Henry

thanks for posting the pictures.
If the serial number is Koga-Miyata then the "D" means year 1975. I think the frame is more recent then 1975. The derailleur cable guides under the bottom bracket is an indication that the frame is 1985 - 89. I think this is something other than a Koga-Miyata frame.
It is a nice looking frame. The one unique thing is the hole pattern on the bottom bracket. If you can find another bicycle with that pattern then you may be able to dtermine the frame manufacturer.
