My wife dragged home another old Raleigh....
Another garage sale find.
Its an old Raleigh Olympian, made in China (!) with 555sl butted tubes & Suntour bits, about 30 years old.
I'm going to get my legs stretched to try it out !!

Pretty nice for a garage sell find. Looks to be a 84 or so Raliegh of America. Pretty basic bike with nice paint and surprising nice frame for a basic Taiwanese built bike based on the couple of similar bikes I have owned. Worth about $150-200 in good riding condition. The really tall frame with relatively short wheel base will likely severly limit potential buyers riders though.

Dang that is big 26inches was the extra large option size for these. Know you just need to find someone right around 6'4" with out much give or take size wise to ride it.

Good bike! I've ridden this one around in the Oregon Coast mountain range quite a bit while visiting my parents on both gravel and paved roads:

Yes for value priced bikes these are great riders despite some of the nay saying here these RBCA bikes realy raised the bar for value priced bikes when the came out offering features and performance of privious a mid level bikes at entry level price.
