All original 84 Designer Ciocc SLX w/ Super Record

Going to pick up a minty fresh, all original 84 Designer Ciocc SLX tomorrow with Super Record. Really excited about it. Without telling you what the party is asking, what the maximum you would pay? Sorry I don't have any pictures. He already took the ad down. Thanks for your suggestions.

What I would pay is irrelevant. I sold one on eBay - very clean, panto parts, for $1200...which I thought was high for the quality and builder. On a CL sale? Depends on your market...but it's hard to sell bikes for over about $500-$600. I'd say maybe 700ish in good condition.

For a local sale I would $700-800 yet I have seen really nice examples gor $1000+ on Ebay more than I would pay. Very nice bike nice SLX frame with Super Record components is about as nice as it get's for a bike of this vintage. As said it is tough to get more than $500-600 cash price for a bike. Hope you get this one these are just georgouse bikes.

From the looks of the pictures, which I foolishly didn't save, the bike looks to be in amazing shape. Only way to tell is to see it in person.

Wow...okay. Seems a bit low to me. I would love to get it in that range but I certainly don't want to lowball anyone to death. Proof is in the pudding I guess. I'll post some pictures when I get home.

Well based on condition and how much you like the bike when you see hopefully ride it in person you should be fine going $100-200 more on price if it's going to be personnel rider keeper. I'm usually fine going %20 more buying or selling on bikes I really like that have a bit of wow factor that can only really be appreciated in person.
