Value of "mint 12 speed" Suteki road bike
Rare find - mint Suteki 12 speed bike with bags and rear rack | road | Ottawa | Kijiji
There's really not much information given in this ad but given that I recently got in an accident with my 1978 Raleigh so I'm looking for a cheap bike to use until the weather gets too harsh.
I'm not the most knowledgeable bike enthusiast so I'm not certain about the price of the ad, and tried searching around for prices of Suteki bikes and got anywhere from $10 - $200.
Within my immediate area there's nothing to compare the bike to so I was hoping maybe one of you have an idea about its approximate worth.
For the time being I have messaged the owner and I do plan on seeing the bike up front and giving it a test ride.
Thanks for your time!

The bars and brake levers aren't stock.
But, that Suteki is worth more than $75.

Suteki was the line of Japanese bikes sold by Sears Roebuck, or I guess Simpson-Sears in Canada, once 'Made in Japan' came to mean high quality in the 80s. That said, I don't know if the Suteki bikes lived up to the standard of Miyata, Centurion, Panasonic, etc, high quality Japanese made bikes, probably that doesn't matter when you're looking for a basic transportation bike.
Besides the value of the bags that come with this bike, their presence suggests that someone has paid attention to its function and that *may* mean it's been well maintained. It's a fairly large frame...size matters more than anything.

Thanks for the feedback!
I'm 6'4" with fairly long legs so the frame should be within my upper limits
And yeah I probably won't ride the bike for over 40km in a single sitting so it's mostly for transportation and short joy rides
