Daccordi SLX
I have a Daccordi SLX 54cm that I bought new back in the late 80s...around 87 or 88. It came with Campy Chorus 7. I had my knee replaced 10 years ago and changed it out to a mix of Dura Ace and Ultegra 8sp. I still have the Campy. My hips are now shot from years of abuse...so am looking at selling this bike. I have seen frame sets going for anywhere from $400-$700, not sure if they are getting those numbers though. Any help on pricing this bike would be greatly appreciated. I hope to keep mountain biking as I get better but kayaking seems to be the best way for me to work out now. Thanks in advanced

Nice looking bike. I love that '80s paint.

I'm not sure about $400-$700 for a frame. It seems a little high, but then I am not an expert. If it were me I would base my expectation on recent sales of high end Italian frames in general, realizing that certain brands like Colnago demand a premium for the name. If you want to sell the bike complete, consider changing the stem out for a traditional quill stem. Oh and wash it really good and take some new pics! Best of luck!

Parting out nets the most $$ but takes the most time and effort. The mix of components makes the complete bike less desirable. You would need to strip it down and rebuild it with the Campy bits.
Given the pile of parts you will have left over regardless, part out is probably the way to go.
You will be trading convenience for $$$. Probably could get double on a part out, depending on your marketing skills.
Looks like a rusty stay, that will cut value. +100 will need to do a major clean up to maximize return. Or let the buyer do the cleaning and he will get double what you get.

I do a lot of parting out and selling of frames...that always, to me, brings the best return. And, as @wrk101 says, you would need to tear it down, clean it and build back up with the Campy bits...why not just part out. One caveat...the Daccardi name is not as well known as other manufacturers, so the overall price will probably be less.
Also, as Bill says, always look at SOLD listings on eBay, not the FOR SALE ones. Sellers often ask extravagant prices...and do not realize those...

It looks to be in pretty good shape, put the Chorus stuff back on and try for $800. Sell the Dura Ace/Ultegra stuff for a couple of hundred maybe?

Easily the prettiest bike I have ever owned. I sold it locally for $550 minus the saddle. The size may have held mine back because it took over a month to even have someone look at it and he came from 125 miles away.
