Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra
Any ideas on what this Merckx is worth? I'm located in the SF Bay Area, but am willing to ship and/or list on ebay.

On Craigslist...tough to say because it's just hard to get max value on pricier bikes with CL, and it can be more luck dependent. SF is also likely a better market than mine...
I'd list it at $800 and see what happens.

Size is 56cm.
Thanks for the replies. There's a Merckx Corsa Extra frameset only on eBay for $1000. Some completes going for $2500, but those have full c-record w/ the delta brakes.

$1000 is top of market eBay IMO..:and with Athena I don't think you're getting that.

Agreed. Market is not too interested in Athena/Mirage right now, and there are plenty of other high end Merckx bikes out there - some with more compelling paint schemes- with DA and SR with which you will be competing.
Data point: I recently turned down the opportunity to purchase a pristine MX Leader in Team Telkom livery with full DA for $1200. So, there's that as a comparison.
Not that your bike isn't very nice, just that the market sucks right now and there's a lot of competition for vintage bike dollars.

My buddy just built a Corsa Extra and gave $400 for the framset. About the same price as my Waterford Paramount frameset and there is one of those for sale on BF right now for $900 that hasn't budged. As others have mentioned, the components on your EM detract from the value.
You're in a better bike market though so I agree with the suggestion above to list at $800 and see what happens.

I purchased a complete Corsa Extra with Dura Ace on eBay for $500 last year, plus $100 shipping. I put the price on the bike pictured at $650.
