RacingBik Carbon road bike
So here is an early 90's RacingBik carbon road bike, unusual shaped frame, full carbon frame, aluminum fork, DuraAce/Ultegra components, new tires, serviced. So this frame started Trek with it's carbon bikes etc...whats it worth???

I can't believe no one replied to this even to ask for more/better pics. I'll try and sort of bump it fo you.
can you post some better pics? maybe the bike standing by its self? I see daul pivot brakes but what is the component group?
I suspect it was something marketed to the Tri crowd. any more info in the Trek connection?

This is a cool bike if you still have it. Not enough people know the history of carbon bikes or what happened right before trek OCLV under Nelson and Kestrel and Aegis founders were up to. It was this bik. Missing the e of course. Yes look up Ron Nelson and dig into the history of folks like Aegis Bicycles and Kestrel. It started here .... of course Peugeot in 1982 and Exxon Graftec and Bowden Space lander preceed this but outside the Bowden which was fiberglass, this was one of the first full frame moulded bikes, vs tubes and lugs in carbon or composites.

Quite the thread resurrection. Moment I saw the pic Aegis bikes popped into my head. I don't know much of the brand itself but the shop I was at sold them for a couple of years in the late 90s early 00s, just before they went under. The bikes rode nice but they were seriously heavy for a carbon bike even at that time. Got to take their cross bike out for a demo at a local race, just seemed way too chunky compared to the repurposed lugged steel giant road bike I was racing on that year. Still, a distinctive looking brand.
