3rensho 58cm

Hi All, would appreciate some help with an estimated value. I live in the greater Boston and would like to try and sell it locally

It’s a 3rensho 58cm serial number A590-580.

As far as I know the original campy record cranks, brakes, derailleurs, headset, and pedals. Shimano
bottom bracket , cheap stem and bars. Araya clincher wheels with campy hubs. Tried to document the condition
in the pictures. The middle cable guide is not just chipped but bent as well. I'd be happy to provide any additional
details. Thanks

Well you probably already know prime examples are sought after by collectors. The damage you noted does hurt as it may keep those types away. Best bet is ebay for top dollar w/ lots of details and pictures but locally in Boston might be able to find a buyer 500+-? no expert on 3rensho but they are not common.

edit, guess I should say that if I was local would probably offer up to 500 for it. Recent 54 went on ebay for 660 + ship but no idea on comparisons, the values are all over. Did your once have more decals?

I saw that one on ebay not much in the way of details about condition. The decals were removed by a previous owner not sure why. Thanks for the advice

There was a blue one on ebay a few months ago up in your area, Charlestown, that went for around 800. Same size, too.

Edit: here's a link to the sold one:

I appreciate the insight and I understand it will bring more money on ebay. Based on the some additional estimates on value I may give it a try on CL and if I can’t sell it that way then move on to ebay.

I would think you should be able to get between $500-600 in Boston which is a fairly strong market and little better than most for higher end stuff.

Normally I would agree about the prices being driven up. But this particular bicycle started at $800. I thought it should have received a great deal more attention than it did. Not really sure why it didn't.
