Wanted: The most French 26.4 post possible
I am looking for a post for my mid/late 60's Bertin. The Kalloy one I have been using is very functional but I would like something with a little French accent to it.
here is the bike wants needs the post..

That's why I asked for the second most French seat post. You got first dibs Sweet Bertin, BTW.

I have a 26.4 fluted simplex. It was inserted into a bike once, never ridden. It will not be inexpensive.

JPR's are as French as can be, and the two bolt microadjust on it works a treat! Plus!, not as expensive as Simplex seatpost.
There's always a few for sale at eBay, but you might have to wait sometimes for the exact right size to come up....

OP appears to have a 3ttt Record stem. Not French but might be neat to have a matching 3ttt seatpost.
Although, my vote to the Simplex. Even for an Italian ride.
