FS Small '87 Pinarello Frame + Fork: perfect candidate for a winter project

ok. it's time to let it go. becoming a cool wall deco is not its faith.

49cm ST, 51cm TT Pinarello Cadore* frame and fork. tri-color gradient on the frame + all chrome fork. headbadge is in nice vintage condition.
*the closest guess i have pulled out after intensive search. Cadore was mid-level Pinarello's "work horse" frameset according to their '87 catalogue. having same geometry w its higher level sibling Montello, but w lesser tubings, it was base frame of their l'eroica models i.e) Tre Cime, Asolo and Dolomite. the color theme here, however, is following Montello, that has not been found in the Cadore family. also rarely—and i believe it's a good thing—all chrome'd under paint. that also helped its challenged paint condition—flaky all over.

Columbus Matrix tubing, you can see the half-torn stickers on ST and the fork. paint condition is very challenged. was going to repaint it, but didn't bother blasting being afraid of hurting chrome. light, superficial surface rust and freckles over the chrome part, but should clean up nice w foil ball method.

light and sound frameset. no dings, dents, or any suspicious markups. Pinarello insignias where it's needed, except the ST cluster where it's sharply sloped exposing the chrome part.

bought from a good forumite here, just never had a chance to give it a love. time to find it a better home so it can be ridden again. in my opinion, '87 Pinarellitos go well with slick Victory or Triomphe gruppo. Fuchsia Tre Cime on their catalogue with triple Victory is just perfecto.

$OLD. offer me if feeling outrageous. shipping from 10018 NYC.
will try my best to pack, a few ppl on the forum has experienced how i pack the stuffs, so you can be rest assured. being a small frame, should be good to snug in a relatively smaller box conforming all the new crazy USPS rules.

in the winter cleaning, lady orange has not been happy with all the junks in the tiny second bedroom. so more odds and ends are coming soon.

(edit)
Italian bottom bracket thread, of course.
and it seems taking 27.0mm seatpost, or 27.2mm with some bore work. my caliper says 27.1mm duh.

(does anyone know why the attached images are shown here as just links?)

The chrome is a bit unusual, if my Tre Cime is a good example. The Tre Cime was stripped with no chrome found. The features look almost exactly the same. Put it together without paint for my daughter to ride using Suntour Superbe Pro parts, she fell in love. My head badge is nearly toast though. It weighed in at <21 lbs for a 57 frame set.

This is a plug for this ad!
