Absolutely beautiful, Matt. Thank you.

Very nicely done. Top shelf packaging.
Crisp, sharp and too cool with that matte finish.

The anticipation is building with all these kudos. The USPS still has custody of mine.

I have a cheap one I printed at work hanging on the wall - it needs replacing.

Well, in light of the typos I want to figure out a way to fix these. I'm going to fix the art and probably print new ones, so anyone who wants a replacement send me a pm and we will figure it out.

I'd rather have the typo's in mine. More human, and a good way to remember mkellar234 as a real person, not a machine.

Got mine today, and like my bronse busing. I'll definitely keep it. Factory issue mistakes are always more valued in the future

I worked for many years in the ad / pr business long before spell check and my favorite typos were, one, when we placed our own ad saying that we specialized in "pubic relations" -oops; and two, when we advertised for a client that required "shift," without the f, workers. It happens to everyone. Not a big deal.

I'd like one of the posters, typos and all.

cheers.

Brad.

You guys are gracious, but it does bother me and I think I have a plan to fix it. I want to make a new run of posters next week and experiment with a less expensive method of shipping. I will ship one poster out, and if it proves to be less expensive and the poster isn't destroyed then I can ship a replacement to everyone who has purchased one. Just give me a week and I will keep everyone up to date.

Ah, Matt. I wouldn't mess with perfection. I never noticed the typos. And don't care.
Nor do the vast majority of the respondents here as far as I can tell.

Heck...I didn't even read the thing.

Agreed.

I worked with ad copy for years and occasionally a zinger would make its way out the door.

We just moved forward and tried to make things right.

Like the time the Bruce Springsteen box set came out and we advertised it at our cost.

Sold 700+ copies in three days.

I didn't get fired after the owner noticed how many new customers made it into our shops.

Typos? What typos? I just framed mine yesterday - it really does look great. The girlfriend even said we should take something of hers down in the living room to make room for it. That's pretty cool. I think Bonham's squeaky bass drum pedal on "Since I've Been Loving You" adds a human touch...and I have absolutely no problem with typos on a poster.

Don't change it Matt, own it with pride. Now I gotta run and go listen for that drum pedal and I won't love that song any less when I hear it.

I sure hope not. It's like an albatross around the neck.

I'm toying with trying to frame this without glass or a mat. Both would distract, I think. I have a dry mount press and think it will look good in just a simple frame.
Now all I gotta do is find some wall space for it.
Ouch! and I know this pain. But I do my best not to inflict it on friends. I haven't gone back to find the typos, and certainly won't care. It looks very nice.

I, too, am hunting a simple frame. I only wish I had a dry mount press, and will sort it out when the frame is found.

Plus, mine was one of the earliest!

Have you costed out simple mailing tubes, rather than flat post?

Thanks, yet again!

L-Lad., I nearly deleted that stupid post, but was too late to catch it.

But, if I can assist with dry mounting, let me know. Of course, then it will have to be mailed flat.
But I'd be glad to do it.

Ok, I am still dwelling on this and I think I have a solution that could be a win win for everyone. I will make a new batch of posters, but I will also set and print the brake posters. So, anyone who purchased the typo version can get the fixed one and the brakes poster for the cost of shipping. That way, I won't loose my butt in shipping and anyone who wants the brake poster will get it, and a replacement for the cost of shipping. I will also take an extra moment for spell checking!

Clear as mud?

Yes root boy, I think I suffer from the same condition!

Simply more evidence why this forum is quite unlike any other.

I know I have been quiet for a couple of days, i've been busy working on the brake poster. I've got the art done for it (so many clipping paths!). Now I just need to do a thorough QC job and I can start printing.

Yeah, thanks Narhay. I caught that one when I checked it last night. I'm also missing a line on the derailleur poster pointing to the stop pin.

Hot off the press and cooling off in the snow. I've made a list of people I owe posters and people who have expressed interest. I'll start going through that list, sending PMs and packing posters tomorrow.

This time I made a set with a matte finish and a set with a regular gloss finish. Thanks for being so patient with me everyone!
