Lugged 1988 Trek 870 Steel MTB Frame/Fork Deore LX Wheelset
I picked up a Bridgestone MB-2 the other day so this has to go. Sweet riding and hard to find frameset which has some interesting details. It was the top of the line steel frame for 1988 and was made with lugged True temper ATB chromoly tubes and unicrown fork. Measures 20" CTT on seat tube and 22" CTC on top tube. Deore U brake included as well as the Deore LX wheelset ( I am keeping the cassette). It has down tube braze ons for adjusters/shifters which I haven't seen on another MTB frame. The rear dropouts also have adjusters which is a nice feature. I also really like the seat stay cluster with the lugs on the seat stays. There are some scratches as you can see but no major damage. The worst of it is on the chainstay on the drive side.

That would make a great drop bar conversation.

Gotta wonder: cantilever bosses on the fork, but none on the back?
