1970s Dawes Galaxy frameset
Let the selloff continue!
I'm letting go with my early 70s Dawes Galaxy. These were said to be made of straight-gauge Reynolds 531, main tubes only. Takes a 26.4mm seat post. Seat tube measures 23" (center to top) and top tube is 23" (center to center). Rear spacing is 120mm. Paint is worn in places and has some scraps and chips here and there, but the only dent is from a previously mounted kickstand (which I've tried to show in the pic below). Chrome is in good shape overall. Sale includes frame, fork, headset, seat post binder bolt, front and rear brake cable stops.
SOLD on the eBay!

As soon as I saw the dropouts, i thought, "That would make a great single speed!" Then I saw your build. Great minds think alike. Personally, I can't imagine letting go of such a classy ride, but we all have our reasons. GLWS.

Nice bike at a very solid price; I would have picked it up if it had been available earlier this summer.

Now listed on eBay (though that doesn't preclude someone still buying it here in the next few days).

This bike should have gone by now.

Still learning
Relaxed sport touring geometry, very comfortable, if not more so, than a Super Course. I always get compliments when I go for a spin on mine. If you're on the fence about buying it, get off!
