Nice Trek 400

SOLD

Trek 400. 21 ST 21TT 17CS

I know these aren't highly collectible, but I grabbed this from a friends garage with a bunch of parts.
Nice paint, inside is clean. I just wiped it down quickly, it needs a good detail around the lugs.
I might be weird, but I love the crazing on the chain-stay decal
It's not perfect, some scratches here and there but no rust, for an "84, pretty darn nice.
$80 net.

This would build up into a nice looking ride.

I just got that same exact frame but with all the bitties attached to it. And I paid a lot more.

That totally looks intentional!

I had an 84 420 (heh, heh... ), with the Mangalloy frame- that was a great riding bike- and had the most glorious deep dark blue metal flake paint... you could see "into" it like 3" in... crazy.

Mangalloy - sounds pretty tough.

Very nice find congrats on the sale - was your friend looking when you grabbed it from his garage? lol, I am a sucker for lugged frames with engraved logos on the seat stay caps.
