FS - some wheels

I have some wheels for sale. The darn things seem to multiple like rabbits (or faster). All prices are net to me (PayPal friends/family, check, etc). Shipping not included in the prices. Potentially interested in trades as well. Whatcha got? (Looking for some help with a half-step setup on a PX-10 - 50T outer or 47T inner Stronglight 93? chainring and a British threaded 14-26 or 14-28 five-speed freewheel.)

Pictures are here:

https://flic.kr/s/aHsm2Dmr5Q

There's also more detail in the album description.
  • Single rear wheel, Avocet sealed bearing hub, spins smoothly. Rigida rim, Specialized Touring II tire (700Cx28). Hub is spaced to 128-ish mm. $30. Willing to sell just the hub for $25.
  • Campagnolo Record hubs laced to Mavic G-40 rims. These seem to be in pretty nice condition. The hubs spin smoothly, eyelets are rusty. 126mm rear spacing. Clearly some water stains on the rear hub. These rims are VERY TIGHT. $80
  • Oddball wheel, Maillard sealed bearing rear hub with Gipiemme skewer, spaced to 130mm. I see no markings on the rim except for a striped sticker on the rim. $30 for the wheel, $25 for just the hub.

I'm happy to add more pictures to the album, or answer any questions. I have no idea how much to ask for this stuff. If you think my prices are way off-base, I'm open to offers.

Apologies, all these wheels are clinchers. The G40s are pretty darn tight.

On the G40's, do you mean the spokes are very tight?

Can you post a few more pictures of the G40's - showing the brake tracks and the rusty eyelets?

Are the fixed / single speed wheels damaged in any way?

Thanks

I found it very difficult to install tires on them. I tried and tried to put on a set of Grand Bois 32s. I think I got one tire on the rear after removing the rim tape. Unless you already have some tires you know will fit them with no problem, I think you'd want to invest in a bead jack to install tires:

I'll take some more pictures when I have a moment.

The fixie set is gone. They were the wheels I was riding when I crashed in late February:

I added some more pix of the G40s to the album: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm2Dmr5Q

There are only two or three rusty eyelets on the front rim. Perhaps 3/4 of the eyelets on the rear are rusty though.

(Photobucket is holding my pictures hostage. If you're interested in seeing one of the missing pictures in an old thread, PM me and I'll attach it.)

re: rust on spoke eyelets.

FWIW, I have used Fast Orange hand cleaner to remove rust from spoke eyelets. Put some on the area, let it sit, and wiped it away. Took a few applications, but it worked. YRMV.

Thanks, Lynn. I think I've tackled this in the past as well, though can't recall exactly what I used.

What is the spoke count on the G40s? Don't see a pic to count for myself.

Ack. Never even occurred to me to count. Ellen moved a bunch of stuff around in my work area yesterday to extract a set of Ikea shelves, so I can't even make it to my workbench right now, let alone grab any of the wheels currently on the chopping block. I'll try to lay my hands on them when I get home, but it might be another day...

All remaining wheels (Campy/Mavic G-40, Avocet/Rigida, Maillard/unknown) are 36H. I also added a picture of the Avocet skewer to the album.
