    Time for TIRE SAVERS again.

It's that time of year again so I thought I post up my ad for Tire Savers again. Standard version bolts to nut mount brake caliper thru bolt. Can be used between caliper and fork crown & brake bridge on recess mount brakes, I would think.
I also make a version which can be attached to the trailing ends of fenders, if you drill a hole and use a short 5 mm bolt and nut to attach them.

$18.00 a pair. Shipping free in the US. Same great price. Please send me a PM if you'd like to order some. Thanks.

Thanks SouthPaw. Somewhat to my surprise, and Jan's too, I think, the tire wipers are selling very well on the Compass site.
I just shipped him FORTY more sets before I left for Germany two weeks ago. Bob at Elliot Bay bought some more too, and intends to sell them in his store this time. Sales are good!

    Thx.

That's great Scott. I think I'll buy a set locally from Bob. I'm gonna be riding on tubulars this summer. They'll be handy for sure.

Thanks Northbend. And, I'm all for supporting Bob and his shop. He's been good to me.

( I make more if you buy them direct from me, however, same price )

I think. Not sure what Bob is asking for them, come to think of it.

Cool Colonel. Thanks. I'm curious how that mount works. I don't see a fastener head on the near side of the stay bridge.
I've been thinking of making some concave washers with through holes, that can be used to mount the rear in that fashion.
Looks good down there and the best advantage, keeps debris from falling on your chain, etc.

There's a threaded boss on the other side of the chain stay bridge.

Ah, right. Threaded fender mount boss. I get it. Thanks. I was thinking of this in terms of a straight through hole. No threads.

Root, I've a restorer friend (half-owner and lead restorer at Phoenix Classic Cycles, Mt. Vernon, Oh) interested. He's curious as to what materials you are using. Ordering one pair from you tomorrow, if he likes them, I'll be posting a larger order soon after.

    Thanks John,
While I didn't go down and weigh a set, with envelope, I did check the postage calculator for 4 ounces, sent 1st class envelope.
Five or six dollars postage, it looks like. I'll make up a set and try get a more accurate weight and quote, if you like, But I think five dollars would cover it.

    Thanks

    Hi Gingi,
. I'm using brass, surgical tubing and stainless steel.
You can see in the picture above where I use each.

I'd be happy to make you up a set,

    Thanks

Do you use Pay pal? If so, that will work, as long as you, please, use the "personal/gift" option.
Otherwise I'm afraid too much will be eaten up in fees. So, your consideration there will be much
    appreciated.

    Thanks

Do like I do. Post a handful of meaningless posts on threads and you'll hit fifty posts before you know it!

Wished I'd had a pair on my fendered Raleigh Pro yesterday. Might have saved a tubular from going bad. I do have them on my non-fendered bikes and have never gotten a flat.
