Be careful purchasing parts from Robbie Fellows

Fellow Members... If you purchase any parts, it's best to ask the seller that he ship it to with a tracking number, especially if the item cost more than 25.00. I went through a horrible buying experience and I'm out more than 100.00 with the shipping. What makes it so horrific, is that I've been waiting for over a year and a half for the parts that never arrived to my home. Robbie Fellows, just kept procrastinating when I reported that I had never received my 1961 Gum Boots for 1966 Frejus Corsa, which I was rebuilding, and had to leave it on hold since. He finally got back to me and said he was going to make more of the hoods which are made of gummy rubber, and can't be that hard to reproduce. He then ask me what I had ordered. He should have known, and didn't know till he ask me to tell him, meaning I was placed on the back burner. Meanwhile, trying to be fair, I told Rob that I would pay for materials and shipping via USPS Priority Mail for the replacements, well, he asked for over 50.00 dollars for the boots. I tried my best to work out the issue with Rob, and said I would pay 25.00 dollars plus shipping, but he kept avoiding the issues at hand and the fact that he had me waiting for a year and a half for the boots. I don't like doing this, but I can't see others losing their hard earn money for part(s) they are never going to receive, because quite frankly, the buyer has you at his advantage, because, first they have your money, and most of the time, they are not going to believe that you did not receive the parts, which I believe is what happened here, but... I came recommended by a well know member here, and who I'll leave out because he has nothing to do with it, except that he could have backed me up as far as what type of person I am, and that if I said I didn't receive the parts... I didn't. So, be sure you ask to have your parts sent where a tracking number can be sent to you, this way, if it gets lost in shipment, you can at least make a claim, by the seller claiming the value in the shipping package. I'm out over a 100.00 with shipping and the parts, and I don't think what I was asked to pay for the replacements after the seller didn't bother to ship the parts with a tracking number, and then say, he doesn't care, because he has proof that he shipped it out, but will not even send me a picture of the receipt via an email, then I could believe myself that he never shipped the parts... My last resort was to tell him that I will post my problem on Bike Forums, he said, go right ahead... Well here it is... Be careful doing business with Robbie Fellows. AKA rnitro1969.

Are you trying to corner the market on bike luggage? You're doing a hell of a job! :)

WRIGHTS SADDLE - @kflagg sent me a beautiful almost new pebbled brown saddle very quickly. Merci!

Over the past 5 years or so, I've managed to put together a pretty complete set of Cannondale panniers, seat bag, trunk bag and handlebar bag. The front panniers I've got don't quite match- so one of these days I'll have to keep an eye out for a set of Cordura Cannondale front panniers. :D
