Vintage Terry Precision Road Bike 44 cm with Shimano 600 parts (handbuilt frame)

Selling a Terry Precision 44 cm road bike. I have built the bike with a combination of new, new-old-stock, and lightly used items. The bike has hardly been ridden and is in excellent condition. In discussions with Georgena Terry, this is one of the earliest handbuilt Terry frames and was originally equipped with a 600A front tire (i.e. ISO 541), as opposed to the ISO 520 found on most small size Terry bikes. The majority of components are Shimano 600EX (6207 era) with few exceptions.

Asking $600. The bike is in Calgary and I should be able to ship anywhere. PM and we'll discuss.

    Specs:
Frame + fork: Terry Precision 44 cm - powder-coated Candy Blue
    Headset: Shimano 600EX HP-6207 (used)
Stem: SR Hi-Rise Quill Stem (60 mm reach, 25.4 mm clamp) (used)
Rear rim: Wolber Super Champion Gentleman GTA (used)
Rear hub: Shimano 600EX HB-6207 (used)
Rear tire: Panaracer Pasela 25-622 (new)
Front rim: Alex R390 ISO 540 (new)
Front hub: Shimano 600 HB-6400 Tricolor (NOS)
Front tire: Primo Passage 25-540 wheelchair tire (new)
    Seatpost: Kalloy 27.2 mm (new)
    Saddle: Terry Liberator X (new)
    Handlebars: Unbranded (used)
Shifters: Shimano 600EX SL-6208 downtube (used)
Brake levers: Tektro R341 Ergo women specific (new)
    Brakes: Shimano Tiagra BR-4500 (new)
Crankset: Shimano 600EX with 42T/52T chainring set (NOS)
Bottom bracket: Origin8 Cartridge 116 mm (new)
Front derailleur: Shimano 600EX FD-6207 (53/42 130 mm BCD) (used)
Rear derailleur: Shimano 600EX RD-6208 (used)
    Freewheel: Shimano 6-speed 14-28T (new)
    Chain: KMC 7/8 speed (new)

The front wheel throws off the vintage look, I admit. It's the best I could source for parts at the time. As the front wheel is an odd size, I have a spare unbuilt R390 ISO 540 rim that I would be willing to sell for an extra $20.

    Thanks for viewing.

Just to poll the crowd, would there be any interest in the frame or parts separately if I were to take the bike apart?

Bump. This is a perfect bike for summer road rides for a petite woman. Still available. The offer to strip down for frame and parts is still on the table.

Just shows how small the market for small frames is .
Looking for 25 or 26T Dura Ace uniglide cogs both cassette and FW. Can trade NOS 22 or 24T.

In a forum that's dominated by men, you're probably right. OTOH, if this was posted on the Team Estrogen Forums, I bet it would go fast.

Oh-canada. Powdercoat-unknown model-race geared-and size all hurts saleability in my opine. Shipping to US has probs of its own. May have gone upsidedown on this as a flip.

There's been a 43cm Terry on the Cleveland Craigslist for over six months now... Not as nicely equipped as yours though. They're a very limited demand item!

Thanks for the responses and advice, all! I semi-regret the powdercoating now that I have a better appreciation for patina but at the same time, I still think it looks beautiful.

I'm going to cross post this at Team Estrogen. For fairness, I'm bumping the price back up and trying my luck.

Just out of curiosity, what sorts of troubles do you get in the US receiving packages shipped from Canada?

While I don't get packages shipped from Canada often, I get a lot of stuff out of England. I have yet to be hit with duties on anything I've purchased. I guess the stuff I'm buy is too small for it to be of interest to them.
