    mid 90's Tommasini Sintest, 61cm

This bike is beautiful, I hate to sell it but it is too big for me. This is a mid 90's Tommasini Sintesi that my father bought new and has been in my possession since his passing 10 years ago. It has Mavic wheels and Campy Record components throughout. The bike is located in the Atlanta if anyone is local and wants to see it.

    I am asking $1,200 + shipping.

A complete gallery of photos can be viewed here: Tommasini Sintesi - Imgur

Not only was your dad a big guy he had great taste, that is one nice bike and if I was a foot taller I would be trying to purchase it or be very jealous of who ever does.

Dittoes on your dad, his size, and his very good taste.

I've got those last two. Now, if I only had his wallet, we'd be talking turkey. That bike looks worth every penny you're asking, but I haven't got that many pennies right now

    Stunning.

Is that a shallow dent in the non drive side chainstay or is it just how it was photographed? In any case, she's a beauty.

It is a shallow dent, and I am glad you mentioned it because I intended to point it out in my post but it slipped my mind while posting. I tried to photograph every imperfection I could find, aside from this dent, there are a few paint chips which can be seen in the photos.

Hmm, it sure looks like you are missing a Tommasini from your signature.... I think it would fit nicely at the end where you have "And a Bike to Be Named Later".

Is that right above the braze on for the RD cable stop? This is my size, and while I'm fairly certain the piggy bank doesn't have 120,000 pennies in it, I will shake it out this weekend anyway.

What size tires is it sporting now 23mm or 25mm?

I'm assuming that 61cm is center to center on the seat tube. Is that correct? What is the top tube length, center-to-center?

Sorry I didnt respond sooner, i've been out of pocket all day. I am not sure I understand what you are asking about the dent. The best I can describe it is that it is on the chainstay but on the opposite side of the chain. Would another picture help?

The seat tube is 61cm from the center of the crank to the center of the top tube. I measure the top tube as 58.5cm from center to center.

I actually have two sets of Mavic wheels (both have a campy cassette), one set has 23mm tires and the other has 25mm. I will include both sets of wheels, but shipping will be extra if I cant fit them in the bike box.

I honestly thought there would be more interest in this bike. Is it the size? price? or is the market for a bike like this very narrow?

It's the dent on the NDS chain stay.

Actually, I think that the bicycle market, used especially, is really soft this year after the bad winter.

Admittedly, your Tommasini is a very nice looking bicycle. Too large a frame for me to ride and Italian puts it entirely out of scope for machines that interest me.

It's my size, but do I really need another Roadbike?
